Fools rush in where angels fear to tread:http://www.otto-wipfel.co.uk/downloads/pon6beta.zipNote this is not a finished route, there are loose threads hanging out all over and no automatic install, it's primarily to get help hunting down problems to make the final version 6 better. The trackplan is the final for V6 tho, so any activities written on the beta will work whenever I get the little beggar finished (mostly scenery stuff).I'm already getting lots of email ("3 frames per hour, and it set my monitor on fire!"), so I may not answer all directly, but I'll try to answer most here on the forum somewhere. As for feedback, those of you who know me should be aware by now I ain't the sensitive type, so sending me private messages to point out glaring errors that could only have been done by an imbecile like me is completely unneccessary. Post in public forum, hang out my dirty laundry for all to see, it don't bother me a bit. Flames from One-Legged Drunken Irish Retired Railroad Men from Chicago are particularly welcome.

For those who don't know: Acleantrack1.ace are Trackbeds-Ties (Sleepers), Rails are Acleantrack2.ace. No need to Back-up your existing Track/Rail Files before using replacements if you keep the ABZ set in a safe place ! The purpose of the ABZ Prefix is to keep them close to the Acleantrack.ace files in your Folder's alphabetical listing after they have been Copied. I keep my set in the UTILS Folder. You can then "mix and match" at your heart's delight.
Ottodad, I'm working on some fixes, hope you don't mind replacing the beta completely in a couple days, I found another \World file with corn in it, and I'm fixing the ref file as well so the assorted missing shapes won't be missing. I dunno how many quads I tried Scott's corn on, I thought it was only the one! And why it sometimes pops up and sometimes don't is beyond me, but I have been able to duplicate it.As far as installation, the \Portogden6 folder is stored in the path, so you don't need to create it, just extract the zip right into \Train Simulator\Routes and run the installme.bat.Pat, I really wish this thing was written better so it didn't trash the framerates completely on low-end systems with heavy detail. But that last screenshot you posted is a good example of why I just GOTTA have lots of weeds, I really want to do the whole route like that. I don't care if MSTS 2 has an even buggier editor that's even more difficult to use, as long as they lose this OLE thing and include some kind of compiler so I can go hog-wild with detail and get reasonable framerates. If it runs at all on a celery, I'd say that was doing good!
