I was taking a freight train along at a constant 60mph; with 20 mixed default cars and the new 'cement' and 'refrigerated' cars; when this happened...all of the sudden, i was in View 2, I noticed my speed starting to accelerate suddenly, then the second locomotive disconnected. Swiveling around, I noticed all the cars each disconnected drifting along behind; smashing into each other :SThink someone entered an extra 0 for the grade % at a switch I passed over...I know there's fixes, I just like to grumble though

RE: Hmm..(NEC Derail)
I've had that happen to me many a time at the same location using non-default cars and engines

Why do people say "all of THE sudden"? Dictionary and Thesaurus say "all of 'A' sudden". After all, its not THE ONLY sudden, it is just "A" sudden out of many possible suddens. What kind of word is sudden anyway? Looks strange to me now that I have typed it a few times. Say sudden ten times in a hurry and see if any of this makes any sense to you. D'oh! Just goofing, note the time of this post. -Al
If you had the ESEv2 and the F7, play the big race where you are the F7 and the AI is the ESE. Then somewhere along the straight track, you will get a broken coupler. I think it is the same location.-------------My favourite LUL train-------------
I've had that exact same problem at that location! I thought it was a fluke...maybe not, though. I was going 56mph at the time. After recoupling, I couldn't get the train to operate properly again. It was like the brakes were permanently on and I could do maybe 20mph max in run 8 (for a short passenger train). I ended up exiting the session. Wonder what causes this uncoupling? Any ideas?David Clarke
