RE: Why not test a Swedish route

Hello
KMJ-Route version 2.0 10-aug-2002Following changes is done to this version:
- The framerate is now significant increased
- New tree types used in the route.
- Sky! Conductor 2 is now working.KMJ is a route with it’s fictitious place in Middle Sweden. The places along the route is fictitious.
KMJ is made to satisfy both passenger and freight train drivers. The route contains industries, docks and stations for all needs.
The route is based on Europa1.
All objects are removed from the original route. Only the track is original. Major work is made on new textures so there could be more Swedish buildings and vegetation. All terrain is remade, and new ground textures. Almost every building has winter and night textures.Stations Kvarndalen and MunksäterThe two big stations is made to give more interesting train movements to the use of activities makers. The track lay is thought to represent a real impression. All tracks in function. So in Kvarndalen there is double platform so you get the feeling of two-way track that meets. There is a big harbour with it own yard. In Munksäter, its also a yard to manage the big traffic the industries make. There is also a house for trains.
Some examples of industries:- Paper mill in Munksäter
- Car factory
- Sawmill in Övre Munksäter
- Paper mill in Forsnäs
- A few mechanical industries, with various transportation needs. The file is 174 Mb and is build with standard track
Try it, and write som feedback here in the forum.Hawk

RE: Why not test a Swedish route

I certainly appreciate that the route is freeware...sadly, I'm cut off from broadband access (not my fault...Telekom decided to screw me ) ...oh well, if I download for one hour each day I should be done after a week...Dominik MannProud Member of the MSTS European Railfans

RE: Why not test a Swedish route

Here in Sweden over 500.000 have broadband at home.
The server is very fast, so I can't se the problem;-)
Of course it's nothing for "modem-users"

RE: Why not test a Swedish route

cut and paste, and you are in business.
60 Km.(60 Kilometer = 37.28400 Miles)
If you start the route in explore route you start in Övre Munksäter and have 12 miles(120 Km) driving ahead of you. How you wonder, the route is only 6 miles long? In the far end of Kvarndalen there is a double headed round track, which gives you the possibility to drive the route in both ways.

Hey there! Don't count modem users out of the game so fast there, that little beauty would be worth the time it takes to download!Slicka ~DR

RE: Why not test a Swedish route

Hello
I have prioritized the quality on the route, before quantity. Therefore is the route not so long. Next version, wich is already ongoing, is going to bee longer, and is also containing a side line.
