Problem With TA's Conrail Quality SD70

Here's the problem...
Is this something wrong with the Alpha Channel? or does Conrail have sunroofs on their SD70s? lol------------------------------------------------------------I'll never let go of the railroad that inspired me to involved with trains, the Union Pacific!

You can say that again...Just when I was starting to like TA...Now I have two grudges against TA, ESE and this...Plus also noticed five minutes ago that TA's BNSF SD70's paint scheme doesn't line up at the corners. Back on topic here...I noticed the other day that I have two 4134's, one with the "sunroof" and one without. I also notice that all the SD70's I have, have "hollow" fuel tanks except for one of these 4134's. I forget which is which, I would have to leave here, start MSTS, load the consist, exit MSTS (the sim, not the editors), return here, and find this thread again to give specifics right now. By "hollow" I mean that the fuel tanks don't look solid from an angle - just like theatre props meant only to be seen from one certain viewpoint, but not from all around. The lone exception to this, of about 7 or 8 SD70's is one of these blue and white Conrail # 4134's. I can check and find the difference if anyone wants to know. AlEDIT: Obviously, all these engines must have been skinned from one original. Anyone know which? Is there a fix? Tx.

I cant believe these nuckle heads here.All he had to do is say he's having the problem and can anyone help.He would have gotten the file from someone,it would have been fixed and he could have saved a lot of trouble.Now its likely he will never get the fix and has everyone pissed at him.When will people learn to keep their mouths shut.Has'nt anyone learned yet that you dont get anything with an atitude.I know its really hard for you young kids to understand but your going to have to figure it out if you dont want this kind of response every time you say something.

Like many... I'm so sick of the whining and complaining. I swore I would not post here any more... but I'm going back on my word in this case...People want support and assistance and they come to train-sim for it. In almost all cases, these needs are met by members of the forum. Both Transcon and RobertSeale(Stephen) have had ample opportunities to be treated with respect by the train-sim community. Many of us have tried to be helpful to them at least once.We've warned them... we've scolded them... we've guided them to solutions... in essence, we've tried...What *they* habitually complain about is the lack of support they are getting on *free* (technically beta) versions of engines. These were formerly free versions of products... They were superceded with *payware* versions. The people who made them *removed* the free versions because they did not want to have to support people having *issues* with them (IE: EMAILS expecting answers). So... since the "free = no support" concept doesn't sink in with some people... the free products were removed from circulation and support is not available. They *CAN* get support on the particular models they want *IF* they pay for them. They won't pay, so they get no support... We, as a result, have to listen to them bitch and complain to the whole community... over and over and over and over again...Certain people are no longer welcome in certain chat forums as a result. We warned them... we gave ample notice to behave with civility... it was disegarded... so now they are "disregarded".Quite simply... it takes a lot to get people to no longer care about someone's problems. Certain people have made achieving this *goal* an artform. So, Are we going to keep hearing the whining and complaining???I'm pretty sure we are... I wonder why?Pete Willard
