Taking a break from my Vid Card Vigil... I decided to install "Sky Conductor!".All went well... until I jumped into a train on Marias Pass 3 for a "look see".Hm. Same ol' same ol'.Light bulb lights: "Maybe it only loaded to the the default routes?"Try that. Load default Marias. Presto: Blizzard in progress.I figure there's a way to link this program up to my two optional routes, right? Before I start pointing and clicking with reckless abandon... can some of you with Sky Conductor! experience share some input as to what I'll need to do?Thanks.Andre Ming

RE: Sky Conductor!

you have to run the Sky Conductor configuration package....and tell it which routes you want it to apply to. I used it on the Ohio route V9.0. If you have that then there are instructions in it that discusses Sky Conductor

RE: Sky Conductor!

One of the apps included with Sky Conductor is one called "Add New Routes". You need to run that in order to add routes other than the defaults. The older versions had a problem with MP3, but I think SC ver.2.6 fixed that. If you've got any problems, check out Jak Fearon's site at www.howintheworld.com. There's a section with FAQ's and a forum about SC.Jeff

RE: Sky Conductor!

I still have problems with SC 2.0 and Marias 3 and now Raton.
I do not see a SC Version 2.6 on the howintheworld site.
All I see to download is 2.0.
Any help?
Thanks!

RE: Sky Conductor!

Go to their website, and hit the forums or FAQ page (I can't remember which).Therein you'll find a question asking "Where do I find the upgrades?", the answer will contain a link for you to download from. The blizzard effect is most excellent.Have fun.Andre Ming

RE: Sky Conductor!

Sky!conductor ranks up there with night baseball in my opinion, but there are a couple of things about it that can baffle you. The need to use the custom install feature on new routes is one of them - I had to post for help on that one myself, though of course the install process itself is fantastically easy. One other thing, if you haven't noticed it already: for it to work right, you have to match the basic weather select in the sim itself to the sky!conductor weather - i.e., rain-rain, clear-clear, etc.
