Whenever I use this program my route gets messesd up. Either my route is missing textures or a message comes up saying "train world Initalazatioin failure" comes up. What shoued I do to fix this because a lot of people are waiting on the Cumbres and Toltec.

Mike just came out with a new edition today that will tell you exactly what is missing, even in the seasonal folders. I'm not sure it's on the download list yet, but search through the forums for it and you'll probably run across it.I know this is frustrating, but I hope this helps a little

Missing textures from custom objects might be handled by the newest RR beta, but the "train world initialization failed" is from missing or corrupted files in the \Envfiles folder. That is a little confusing, since when you write bat it gives you this;Route Riter Questions – image 2
If you click on "yes" it assumes you used custom envfiles, if you select "no" it deletes the \Envfiles folder and adds the line:call xcopy ..\..\template\envfiles\*.* .\Envfiles\ /s /y
To the bottom. That's the best way for the average route, since the geo extractor defaults to \Template\Envfiles, but open your route's .trk file in wordpad. My latest, for example, says:Environment (
SpringClear ( UKsun.env )
SpringRain ( UKrain.env )
SpringSnow ( UKsnow.env )
SummerClear ( UKsun.env )
SummerRain ( UKrain.env )
SummerSnow ( UKsnow.env )
AutumnClear ( UKsun.env )
AutumnRain ( UKrain.env )
AutumnSnow ( UKsnow.env )
WinterClear ( UKsun.env )
WinterRain ( UKrain.env )
WinterSnow ( UKsnow.env )
)So I would have to change that line to:call xcopy ..\europe2\envfiles\*.* .\Envfiles\ /s /yOtherwise it would be looking for UKsun.env, etc., and if it don't find that it's too stupid to switch to the generic sun.env that IS in there and don't need to be.Anyway, if you have the standard \Envfiles that comes from \Templates (open your .trk file and look, should say "sun.env", "rain.env", "snow.env", all down the line), you need to answer "no" to that question, if you have anything else, including custom water or sky textures, answer "yes" and you'll have to sort out files and edit the batch file manually.
