Speedster – image 1

I don't know how many have downloaded the little speedster that Mark Toland created but I highly recommend it to everyone.......This is the coolest little thing I ever saw..........I spend half the night on the ADFRR route tooling around in that little thing and had a ball.....what a great idea.........If you want to just explore a new route or explore areas of a route that you haven't been to, or just want to test out a route, this is the perfect machine for doing it......Don't have to worry about hills, hardly touched the throttle or brake, and the passenger view gives you a great view of the route....and I love the sounds and the horn........I had a blast on that little thing..........and it is very easy to reskin in whatever livery you want.........
My hats off to you Mark for creating this.......Everyone should have one.........I will post some pics later of my excursion..........hehehe, this is what I call fun.........love it....

RE: Speedster

Great things come in small packages.

You could probably hide Jimmy Hoffa in the Mount MacDonald Tunnel and no one would notice.

RE: Speedster

I also downloaded and installed the BNSF Radio Chatter for it. Now when I go in the cab to drive, I have the company of the others thru their voices. Got me soooooooooooooo into the chatter, I'm going to add it to all my engines. Very easy thru the Common.Sound system/method. Also might try eliminating the (5)Inside Cabview and make it an Observation View, 100 feet over the car, for better viewing.(Just downloaded a CSX to go with my Conrail.)Ted

RE: Speedster

Whenever a new route finds its way into my collection, the track crew always climbs aboard the Speedster to check it out. Gotta make sure the tracks are in good shape and the engineer knows the route before we unleash one of the Big Boys on the route!
