how did you guys get the cab shots and stuff?????also, what state you guys in? cuz im going to steamtown on the 8th, but I wonder If theres perhaps a small slight chance I may see you people there?

Wow, cool pics of some NS power! Some big locos to be sitting there like that though, dont ya think? I was surpsied to see an SD50 sitting up here for about 2 weeks with MOW crews (CSX). Like everyone else, how did you get persmission to get a nice tour?Just kinda like standing nearby taking pics and the crew rolls up behind you and asks if you want to check her out from the inside?

I know the train crew. That is how we got in.... There were 3 Dash 9s.Icyfire....we are going to Steamtown tomorrow on the 6th.....the raod numbers are blurred to protect the crew....

oh man! the 6th, what a shame, a 2 day mis sync! so close yet so far! but you know if you guys go tomorrow, your gonna miss the steam excursion, which is thursdays, friday, and saturday, ah well. perhaps another time
(thats why im going thursday)BTW, tell JC that the big boy better be there when i get there, he can't bring it home.. yet heres a link to the steamtown website, if anyone's interested

Lookin' good, John! Enjoy Steamtown... make sure you take in the movie (~20 minutes) while you're there. Excellent bookstore onsite, too. And your daughter is Very cute!

The best part is it says "Under Warranty" right under everyons smiling faces....but I don't think they would be covered --road numbers blured out....funny those NS engines look pretty similar to the ones posted earlier that J-C was hanging off of w/ out the numbers blurred..

MAtt, they were the same engines. But the engines were shut down with NO crew. I know the crew that was on it today. That is how we got on....

I know lots of people who work for the NS. My dad is one of them. He is a Conductor on the NS Piedmont Div. so im surprised that I havent got a ride yet. Maybe soon when he has one of his friends with him.
