Can't find these

I was considering downloading a Santa Fe F7 A and B locos but I can not find any SF Super Chief passenger cars. Anyone have an idea where to find these.

Currently, Train Artisan has a donation-ware Super Chief out, complete with an A-B-B-A set of F7As. 3DTrains has a similar payware package of A-B-B-A Super Chief F7s. With the purchase of the A-B-B-A set, you get access to the 3DTrains Beta v0.3 Super Chief passenger cars. Finally, Jens-Chris at NALW has some generic Santa Fe coaches he has been working on...release date unknown.Take care!Kurt

Thanks Kurt... I appreciate your help. I was at 3Dtrains and seen their ABBA set and almost purchased them but couldn't find the cars. I did not realize they threw in a set of cars. I'll go back and do some more looking. Also, generics would work just fine as well. Can't wait to see those. I have the VIA set from TA but I get real low frame rates when I use it so I held off on TA's Super Chief thinking it would do the same. So with that said I'm wondering if I shouldn't just wait for Jens handy work to show up. JC does some awsome work.

There are some El Capitan Hi Level Coaches in the file library. It was a chair car train that ran as a second section on the same schedule as the Super Chief in the summertime and at Christmas. It used the same numbers as the Super Chief - 17 and 18. Search on El Capitan.

NScaler,Regarding the 3d Trains Super Chief cars, you won't find them unless you've purchased the locomotive set. They're in the F7 forum section, and that is restricted to only those of us that have bought the F7 set. If you're contemplating on whether or not to get them, I strongly recommend doing so. Mark has done an awesome job on them and for $10 you can't go wrong. Plus, you now get the cars, too. In my opinion, it's a steal.Larry

In addition to the other sources listed here, 3DTrains is including their Super Chief Trainset with passenger cars as a part of the Cajon Pass Payware route by 3DTrainStuff. The F7's and passenger cars are a slightly different version from what 3DTrains sells separately on their site, but the same very high quality. For a die hard fan it's a good investment to get both versions, the ones included in the route are a static version, the separate Payware version are continuously upgraded by Marc at 3DTrains.

Thanks guys for the info. I did purchase the locos from 3D. I just haven't got my mail yet. I have been too buisy playing with the speedster I got from 3Dtrains. There is another steal. $5 for their speedster. I also got a link for 2 activities for MP3 that uses the speesdter. What fun I am having!!!!

Let me know how the frame works out on the passenger set...all cars have multiple LOD's, with some as high as 7. I have a pretty fast system and sometimes forget about other's PC-limits.BTW, new F beta should be ready before the weekend...maybe as early as tomorrow....Must sleep - Must sleep - Must sleep... I too, purchased the ATSF ABBA Warbonnet set for twofold reasons: * To gain access to as many features for MSTS as possible!* To support Marc's efforts.The cab view alone is worth the price of admission!! I'm now using Marc's F-unit platform to run Great Northern F's, Frisco F's, etc, etc... all with that AWESOME cab view!Andre Ming
