Current Model Railroad Projects – image 1

Once again, what is everyone working on???
Atlas Chessie-B&O GP40 #3689:All left to do is decal the numberboards <sighs> and attach the handrails. I bought this unit in April, started working on it in May..... slowly but surely...
Life-Like Proto 2000 2-8-4 Berkshires, NKP 738 and C&O 2779

While "complete", I would like to add full crews to the cabs, and weather these nice nice steamers. What has been finished......
Life Like Proto 2000 Chessie-C&O SD50 #8563
After a small head on collision on January 1st 2004, this unit is finally back on the road. It needed new sunshades, wind visors, and snowplow. I also touched the paint on it, and painted the exhaust silencer silver.
Overland Chessie-B&O C27-A cabeese #904006 and 904061
The only thing I will do to these pretties has already been done, ...trim off the coupler pin
Atlas C&O U23B #2319
Replaced the Accumates with Kadee #5's, and weathered the crap out of it.... hey, it is a U-Boat after all....
Still to come???Well, now that I have a tripod, allowing me to do slow shutter speeds when taking pictures, I have been shooting a few rolls of my model railroad equipment. Not really "roster" shots, but more along the lines of "pictures"..... using a flood light for mood, or in some cases, no light at all I've made what should be some very cool pictures.
One that comes to mind, ..I had B&O caboose 904061 with it's red marker light on track two, and my Chessie-C&O GP40-2 #4167 comming up track one, parked, but with it's super bright headlight on.I took it in nominal light, a an 8th of a second, and with a low F~stop, using a 240mm zoom and a star filter..... it should look very cool Take care,-Jeffrey

I have had my 1000's of dollars worth of HO scale product packed up in boxes since the model Railroad club I belonged to had to vacate from the Eaton Centre in Downtown Winnipeg( They were flattening the bldg to make way for our NEW arena )Anyways .... AS 80% of the current active members were older than 70 I think the WMRA has called it quits. So basically ......... Since the release of MSTS, I have had HO scale money sitting in boxes doing nothing !!LOL ........ Kinda funny that everything I own is CP or VIA Related .... No CN at all .Kinda wierd seeing how I am a die hard CN fan now( I blame CN Gord )LaterTim Kent – 96th_Malice - Winnipeg CanadaProud Member of the NO TRAIL CN SD-60 Club

Jason, don't forget the dual Nathan M5's perched on their roofs
...by the way, are you doing 304 in Speed, or Circus?......for those not in the know... 304 was the only FA2 to recive circus paint, as my records show sometime during 1970, or 1971.Two FA2's went to GE in December 1971, the other two in early 1972.
Take care-Jeffrey
