Geez, Mac, What's the matter with you people over there? Here in Michigan we learned how to drive in that stuff years ago!Bummer, ain't it? We had 10.2 inches of that real wet, heavy crap the day before Thanksgiving. I didn't even have my snowblower out of the shed and gassed up yet. Pictures of "TurkeyDay Surprise" in Michigan. Now, it is all been replaced with mud. That's a mini horse on the other side of the snow covered fence second pic.Oh, the driving? The idiots find the ditches and guard rails quickly as they drive way too fast for conditions. Then, they causs massive traffic problems as the tow trucks try to remove their wreakage that now blocks the roads.SRV Ron

We just got 3 inches on monday/tuesday and it melted today with highs in the 50's. I can't wait till our first 3' storm

Hi Sebastian,Boy, have I got a deal for you!Send me your address and I'll see what I can do about shipping a few truckloads over to you. Ron might even be willing to donate some from the East side of the state as well (although due to Lake Michigan and the prevaling westerly winds we usually get considerably more that they do over by Saginaw, which is on the east side of the state.)I find it ironic that so many people move away from Michigan because they can't stand these #$@#**%$$! winters anymore and yet there are people who have never seen the beauty and majesty of 6 inches of white, pristine snow on a bright sunny winter's morning. I think even Brian will have to agree with me that this is quite a sight.I love the changes of the season. To have to live in a place where there is no spring, no fall colors, or no snow would not be somewhere I'd like to spend the rest of my life. To me, this location is the closest thing to Heaven I can think of ('course I may change my mind along about the middle of March after I've shoveled the snow off my roof for the umpteenth time!!)Have a great day, my friend -Larry Steiner

I had snow here a few days ago, and about 3 inches fell in a few hours. trouble is, heavy rains the next day washed away all of it and now it's so mild I can go outside without a jacket...Jonathan Nikiforovs.

About 2 years ago in my front lawn. Its not quite as bad as you guys in canada or michigan, but we usually get 2 or 3 of these two-foot storms per year. THis one was about 30 inches.
