I officially hate rap now!

I was flipping through the radio today and hear the first part of ozzy's Crazy Train, one of my favorite songs ever, and sudenly it cuts into a rap song called "lets go" by little jon, WHAT?!?!?!......YEAH!!!!!.Why do they keep doing stuff like this? Didnt Puff Daddy rip the Police with "Ill be missing you" and Kashmire by "the hammer of the Gods"?

Actually, it's Trick Daddy's song featuring Lil' Jon and Twista. They just use part of Ozzy's song as the background beat. Have to admit, that song makes one sick rap beat.> Why do they keep doing stuff like this? I'm sure that Ozzy made a couple extra bucks out of this too. I don't think he'd give Trick Daddy the rights to his song for free. Even if he wanted to, Sharon would have probably slapped him upside the head if she found out(she's a record producer)!LOL!

And let us not forget Vanilla Ice ripping off that sweet riff from David Bowie/Queen's "Under Pressure"I dunno, I'm a DJ,(www.allaroundsp.com) we use samples of other stuff all the time. Sometimes its actually pretty cool. The Trick Daddy song thats in question here has been popular for us, and I actually kinda like it.As for Lil' John...man, that guy would be nobody without Dave Chappelle. Thats why I hate today's music, everyone is too scared of making thier own music up!! Ever hear of a one-hit wounder from today?? NO. Back in the 60's 70's and 80's, people made music, it either made or broke thier career. The song either was so good everyone loved it because it was "new" and "orginal" or the song was so bad people liked it. Im sure Shane will agree! LOL!I dont mean to start any flame wars or anything, but all the RnB/rap stuff sounds the same, the pop music all sounds the same.This is coming from an 18 year old!! Don't forget what RUN-DMC did when they did "Walk This Way" video with Aerosmith in the late 80's or early 90's. It brought Aerosmith back and I'm they made money with it. I think Aerosmith took a break from the music until RUN-DMC asked them to do the video with them. I kinda like how they did it but, I prefer the Aerosmith version of the song.Ken Plaza

Personally I prefer Alternative (not the stuff main stream calls alternative) EBM, Electro-Goth, Industrial, etc. There are alot of good groups out there, some you have heard of and some you have not.The Cure, Bauhaus, Front242, KMFDM, Laibach, Leaether Strip and Front Line Assembly> to name a few.
Lately I have been listening to Rammstein, Laibach and the Deathstars.You will not find these groups on the local radio station here in the US. But you can find some of them played on European.Regards,

We got a buncha' kids accross the street that blast da' bump" daily. Doesn't bother me too much - I simply tune it out, or turn my own up a bit. What cracks me up is their clothing - actually, not what they wear, but how they wear it: pants worn below their butts (boxers showing), Raiders football jerseys, and ball caps cocked to one side. LOL!Of course, it's entirely possible that some looked at me when I was a teen and thought along similar lines...Corduroy and polyester geeks unite! Cheers!

Well, I listened to it on my Yahoo'c Launchcast Video. I don't like it one bit. It sounds like they took to beginning part of the "Crazy Train" and keep repeating it in the background over and over again while they are rappin' I can't understand a word they say!
