Kurt Busch Wins Nextel Cup

After a caution filled race at Homestead Florida the 97 team won the Nextel Cup. Team mate Greg Biffle in the 16 car won the race.

Maybe if he took another Viagra it would have "propelled him up" in the points.Maybe if he took another Viagra it would have "extended him" somewhat of a lead in the race. thats enough of that I was hoping for little e.

I turned it off as soon as Kurt won it. He didn't deserve the chamionship, he has hardly done anything all year except sneak by, which all along, it has been said by many that you don't have to win very many races, just stay out of trouble. Still, it is a flaw with the point system to allow the punk to do nothing all year and walk away with the chamionship while other teams have honestly fought for most of the year to be there at the end, and no, I am not upset becasue my two drivers did not win the chamionship, but really, what did Kurt do this year to walk away with the chamionship? I mean come on, his freaking wheel fell off bringing out a caution that helped him stay on the lead lap! My god, talk about lucky! Oh well, congrats to the #97 team. You somehow walked away with it all. Much like the first year of Survivor, you can bet that other teams will take a much different appraoch to the 10 race playoff next year now that they now, for example, in Jimmies case, 8 freaking points was all it came down to.....8 points.Chris Bogley

Well as far as folks not doing much to be in a position to win, there has usually been someone near or at the top in the past years who did not win any races. They were just consitent, always finishing in the top 10 or the top 5. Regards,

Yeah, I know. I don't expect my driver(s) to win it every year, I just wished somebody more deserving (Martin) or somebody that performed better (Johnson) could have won it. I just think Kurt more or less had it handed to him this year without really paying any dues this year, or really since he has been in Cup. Thank goodness next season is only 2 1/2 months away Chris Bogley

Jeff Gordon should have won the championship and Tony Stewart should have been in the top 5. The new points system sucks.
