I'm very interested in products from 3D and Maple Leaf, and, maybe someday, Facing Point. I have MSTS, but don't use it since I acquired TM4.0. I much prefer TM physics and sound to the basic MSTS offerings. I suppose I'm also asking if the add-ons can offer better physics and sound than the original MSTS product. Oh yes, I have Raildriver and will be wanting to use it with any new software, no more keystroke driving for me. And, lets not forget I'm a major computer dummy, so downloads (the one time I tried really messed things up, and only deletion fixed it) and fiddling with the program are way beyond me... but I'm having great fun learning to "drive" the train. I'm just looking for more variety than the basic TM software offers, routes and locomotives. So, I need some advice. I'm very impressed with the knowledge base here. Thanks for any help, Stan

RE: Will new TMTS be able to run MSTS add ons?

Stan,What I can say at present is that we can convert MSTS objects over and we do fully intend to make our sim compatible with MSTS, certain things may not be able to come over like activities for instance. We are working with developers to ensure a smooth transition for MSTS users.I hope this answers your question.Tim
