I tell you what Jim, you wouldnt believe how long it took Michael and I under cover of darknes equipped with a pair of hacksaws to get that off the front of the Loco!The crew were a bit upset though

Hmmm, well, I got a sawzall with some bimetal hacksaw blades, I'm about 500 feet south of the UP west line, lessee how many extension cords I'll need...

Hey all,I was the "Official" videographer when our new "baby" made it home to our parking lot. I am currently putting a video together that shows when it arrived and where we put our 15,000 pound baby. I am hoping to have this video done by early next week...(That is my goal anyway, so please be patient!)
As Tim Court said, we will be repainting the locomotive cab. As that gets done, you can be sure that I will be taking video of that project as well. Isn't railroading fun? Tim Lewis ("Raildriver's" very own "Train Troll")

I spent Saturday welding on the new deck and the railings. I had to shorten it just a bit so it would not take up to much space in the parking lot. I think we will be painting it with the RailDriver logos and in RD blue and silver. Marketing and license issues make it simpler. Besides I always wanted to pretend that I owned a Class 1 RR. Michael

Well, mine wouldn't do you any good then, PO&N is definitely a no-class railroad. It's even non-union, I hire anyone who escapes from the Port Ogden jail since they work real cheap. Only drawback is they tend to steal anything they can pry loose, including logos.
