Just let me thanks to you guys for doing what you are doing. This is what MSTS and Trainmaster needed. The ideas from both merged together to make one hell of a Sim. Good luck to you and let me say the movies look great.I know this has been mentioned once before, but I didn't see an answer posted to these to specific items. Can/will you folks be adding superelevated curves to the sim? Will you be adding rocking, bouncing or other motion to the cab of the sim?To me, this is what all of the other sims lack which would truly put you in the hogger's seat in the cab. Except for BVE, all of the other sims seem rather sterile without the dynamic movement of the cab. Thanks Jim
I have to say that having superelevated curves would be the single best thing to be added to this sim over MSTS. It would be visible and noticable just about all the time. Have you ever watched a cab ride video? Those curves are elevated a lot! A few inches may not sound like much, but it is very, very noticable. Plus with superelevation comes spiral easements, one of my favorite features of real track.Mark

Superelevation would be nice, but I could really do without rocking/bouncing. Sounds like a barf-o-matic.If you decide to go that route, perhaps an "off" button for those that don't want to ride the vomit comet? -Jeff
I must admit I do Like BVE's rendition of this, although as you quite rightly say, can make you a bit "Squirly" at times Not going to tell you if this will be in or not, just a case of waiting I am afraid, if I told you everything then there wouldn't be any surprize Tim
heffed,You should give the new BVE 4.0 beta a try. You will see that the side to side and up and down movement over turnouts and crossovers goes a long way in adding the felling of motion to a train simulator. May be its possible to incorporate this in the cab view of TMTS only. Switching to the external view would turn this feature off.-djt Pentium4/3.4GHz Asus P4C800-E Deluxe/Rev 2 Mushkin PC3500 Black Level II/1024 Mb ATI XT800XT Platinum Audigy2 ZS Platinum 2x WD Raptors/RAID 0 Plextor Premium CD-RW Plextor PX-708A DVD-R SilenX 520 Watt Power Supply Coolermaster Praetorian Case
It is possible to add rock and motion to any loco, etc, as per my MSTS add-on New Zealand Railways Baldwin Class Wb 2-6-2T, currently under development. I've already added ((BazzaMotion(2)) to an electric tram and diesel-electric locomotive. There's no reason why the same technique could not be used for TM TS.The short .avi clip is an animated render of ((BM(2)) in action. The actual motion in MSTS is very pleasing and no motion sickness patch (heh, heh) is required. I'm also optimistic that super-elevated track can be done in MSTS.
Hee-hee, long time no see! I think I was looking for you a few months ago, I forget why now. That motion looks pretty cool, does the cabview do it too?
