I had a cancelation for railfanning this coming Saturday, so I figured I will put a 1 week jump on this. The session will still exist for the following Saturday also but with trains available at the completion of this session. As mentioned I was going to try and do this every two weeks on Saturday afternoons (alternate between railfaning and this). There was a small turnout last time as anticipated, and I'm cool with that. I know that it's College Football season, and people want to get outdoors this time of year (I know I do).
So far I think this prooves that with few people a session is still exciting because TD3 is running you with other trains. Just like in real life your train may not be there on time (happened this last session due to a hotshot I had no choice but to get through). This session at Noon there will only be 5 trains on the modeled portion. Only 7 trains are expected to come on to the territory in the next 4 hours too. Of course the simulation has moved from the 00:00-04:00 on to the 04:00-08:00 part of the day. I have not included trains that run exclusively in Waycross area alone as the trip would only last you 5 minutes. However it is anticipated the traffic will be busy in Waycross still, and the yard should be busy too. Here is where you can get all the details. All reservations should be replied to in this string.List of available trains http://groups.msn.com/FloridaFunnelMSTSMulti-Player/available10242030.msnwFull details of above trains including description and maximum train length
http://groups.msn.com/FloridaFunnelMSTSMulti-Player/yourwebpage.msnwYou MUST be in posession of Wednesday's DOB's (Has not changed from last session)

There are also maps for each subdivision's mainline. Detailed yard maps are available in the Pictures section. For information on the next Florida Funnel Multi-Player session visit...

Sean, If i'm around again saturday i'll run....i'm not making the same mistake and taking a 2 hundred level train again . If i run, i'll probably take the juice train (k651) because it's high priority and i downloaded all the tropicana cars but haven't run them yet. Markb

LAST EDITED ON Oct-29-04 AT 11:11 PM (EDT)

Stange usually K's are lower priority trains. Regardless there is not much congestion at thit time.200's usually get through without much of a problem either. If your a Q600 you might be waiting somewhere.I'll keep it open for now. Let me know if it's official.Just a reminder that K651 should be at Burch by 0600 is an estimate(2PM Eastern) but can also be delayed. Right now looks good though.

RE: Florida Funnel - Sat Oct 30 Noon-4pm EDT

It is true that normally K trains are bulk trains, which stereotypically equals low priority. However, when i used to live on the CSX philly sub (Baltimore MD - Philly PA) the juice train was one of THE top trains, up there with Q135/136, Q174/176. Of course, the higher of the two was the K650, which is the loads to NYC. I seem to remember though that K651 was no siding muncher either. Anyway, it's still 50/50 that i'm there, but at 2:15 if i'm not present and the train has a crew 'send em'. Markb

That's certainly possible. It is listed however as an empty if that makes a diference.Anyways this was a very bizarre, but enjoyable session. I even had people listening from the start as I ran through the ghosts. There was one false alarm detectory north of the MSTS area that may have caused some problems, but only caused problems for himself.I enjoyed the protect againsts between Lee and Mark.As for the glitches on my end I'm not sure what is happening. Luckily all clearances were given. I did have 1 power failure earlier, also had a computer crash about midway in just before. Will have train graphs posted shortly, along with the the dispatcher screen at 0800. Hope everyone had fun, and should be set for some busier action next Saturday.Take it easySeanFor information on the next Florida Funnel Multi-Player session visit...
