Yes, I'll probably gets witch-slapped for this, I expect it so slap away...I'd like to try an MPS on the current release of the GM&O route. Let's restrict trains to the Chicago-Bloomington portion of the line, though....That will keep most runs to about 90 minutes....My main purpose is to get route issue(s) feedback from user prior to releasing the November update to the route...Feel free to run any available equipment for the following train types:Santa Fe outbound passengers (originate Dearborn Station, run to Joliet, stop then continue west to Coal City/Pequot and out onto ATSF main line)Santa Fe inbound passengers (opposite routing as above)Santa Fe freights/intermodals (Corwith to Coal City, vis-a-vis)GM&O commuter inbound (S. Joliet yard to Chicago Union Station, return trip or opposite run optional)GM&O passenger inbound/outbound (Bloomington - Start at Atlanta -to CUS, run via Pequot/Coal City line at Mazonia, outbounds run Old Main from Joliet to Mazonia)GM&O freight drags (long, heavy, slow, up to 5 units on the point, originate/terminate Glenn Yard, all run via Pequot Line)C&WI/Erie/Wabash commuters in/out of Dearborn StationCB&Q commuters in/out of CUSAny freight transfer runs via whatever route you select...big time explore of Chicagoland...Most of the railroad is single track, CTC except the following sections:Mazonia to Joliet (Old Main) -- train order/ABS/single trackJoliet to Bridgeport-Chicago (ATSF) -- ABS/double track/current of traffic report passing each interlockingJoliet to Bridgeport-Chicago (GM&O) -- ABS/double track/current of traffic, report passing each interlockingBridgeport or C&WI/PRR lines to CUS/Dearborn -- CTC/move only by dispatcher OK/4+ tracksWhat I need from you....Screenshots of any problem places you encounter! Turn on the compass rose option ("zero" key) and capture images of things you see or problem places. Zip down and email those to me at jdbandman@earthlink.net after the session. I'll use those to correct any issues prior to the release of the upcoming route update....I want to keep this session very short (2 hours maximum) with the following environment settings: Start at 11 a.m., summer and clear environment. I'll do future test sessions with various other combos...That's it.... If you can help me out by participating in this session I'd certainly appreciate it! I'll have my asbestos suit on during the session as well as running Route Editor to look at major issues on the spot....Mark up for the session in this thread, please...
