MSTS as is does not have the ability to do multiplayer. Our sessions have a communication link through a client program called TeamSpeak. Sessions can be called by anyone willing to set the rules, what route, and what trains are to be run. A dispatcher is assigned to verbaly clear trains through either a chart, or TD3. The operator simply starts in Explore Mode and runs on authority given to him by the dispatcher. You never actually see other trains, however through teamspeak you hear all clearances, and hear other trains calling locations etc.Provided your LAN has access to the internet, you can use TeamSpeak to communicate with each other running trains in Explore Route. If this is 2 computers in a LAN I would recommend using an intercom, phone, or something.See the anchored threads for more information on how you would achieve what your looking for. 2 players on a LAN can still be part of any multi-players session.Sean
