Shane Palus or myself will disptach this session. I have moved it to the later time so there are no conflicts with my schedule. Heres the lowdown:- We will be using the normal Teamspeak server.
- We will not be using track warrents. I like them, but as a train operator, it is not easy to deal with the warrents while controlling your train.
- If you are not familiar with the route, download my guide.
- Train operators MUST call locations often. This can be at Milepost, siding locations, etc, but call your locations. Failure to do so will leave you parked on a siding.
- Timeframe is 1996. Santa Fe, SP, UP, and BNSF trains are fine, as are leased units such as the EMD SD 70's etc.
- Please try and mix up the trains. In other words, I don't want 10 intermodels. Tehachapi has always been home to a parade of trains to include reefer unit trains, coal trains, Swift Roadrailer trains, tank trains, grain trains, autorack trains, and the usual manifest, baretable, Z, piggybacks, and intermodel trains.
- Plan on spending about 2-3 hours doing this. If you don't have much time, then start midway. I prefer a few midway starters so that I can schedule meets sooner. You can even run several trains if you prefer.
- I will start dispatching at 10 PM ET SHARP. If you are a Z and you want to get going, then I suggest you be ready to go at 10 or you may be following a coal drag.
- Depending on how many people we have, I may introduce "ghost trains". These will be trains already on the route at the time we start. This will allow for more meets and more fun.
- Going East (towards Mojave) track 1 is on the right, track 2 is on the left. Going West (towards Bakersfield), track 2 is on the right, track 1 is on the left. I don't know if this is how they really do it, but this is how we are going to do it to try and make it a bit easier. Please sign up below with your info:Example:TRAIN ID: BNSF 4773 (Intermodel)
LENGTH / LOADS: 5,676 Feet / 76 Loads
