Forum Guidelines (Revised 07/16/04)

Notice to all visitors and members of the Train-Sim.Com message forums:
If you plan on using a signature banner in your posts, we would like to remind you that there is a maximum size for banners. That maximum is 450 pixels wide by 120 pixels high, and not to exceed 25k. Your compliance is appreciated. FORUM RULES Problems? There are two common reasons for problems with logging in and posting messages. The first is that you are running a firewall that prevents your messages from being sent to the server. The other is that you have cookies disabled; the DCForum software requires cookies to work properly.

The forum guidelines have been updated to reflect the changes to the overall forum rules....POSTINGS TO THE FORUM
Please be respectful and thoughtful in your comments (pro or con). We all have different opinions to bring to the table. No opinion is meritless or unwelcome. Simply respect the rights of everyone to have their own opinion and respond according to the rules of good etiquette. The moderator will kill any thread where comments become disrespectful or hateful. This forum exists to support multi-player sessions. As a result of that mission, the following are types of posts which are encouraged and may be expected on this forum.TOPICS (LIMITATIONS) OF THE FORUM

* Tutorials on various aspects of MPS operations
* Relevant shots posted in conjunction with specific questions about MPSKindly try to limit screen shots to ONE per thread except in unusual circumstances. This will help keep thread download speeds at reasonable levels. The moderators reserve the right to delete without explanation any post or thread which is in violation of the prohibited list or not considered to be appropriate. Persistent violators will be reported to the forum owner for consequences appropriate to the actions of the perpetrator. The moderators are the sole determiners of what is and is not acceptable, permissible, or appropriate. Questions or concerns should be directed to the forum moderators for clarification. Let's have a good time here and show how much fun we can have with Train Simulator and a group of train-buffs working together! Your opinions, suggestions, or ideas to make this forum better are always welcome and are solicited!Jim Duncan
