Hi everyone, I am completely new to multi-player but the more I read the forums the more excited I get. Thank you in advance to everyone for taking time in answering my questions, I really do appreciate it. I am wondering would it be possible to use Yahoo chat or ICQ vs Teamspeak to dispatch a MPS? Is there a certain reason for using Teamspeak or a simular program vs Yahoo chat or ICQ? Thanks again everybodyMel Johnson
I may not love trains as much as the other guy, but nobody loves them the way I do.
Teamspeak is a good, stable program. It gives a generally clear signal, and it also allows users to customize channel names and many other options. Roger Wilco is another program that has been used in the past. With Teamspeak, one can purchase space on a commercial server, which is what I have done, or set up a server on one's own computer for free. I went with the generally more reliable commercial option for my server. Lee
Hi Lee, thanks so much for your response to my post. If I may ask you one other question. I have several payware routes and am wondering what's entailed in getting a multi-player session going with one of these payware routes? Thanks again Lee for your time in answering my questions.Mel
