Hi all I have just discovered this forum so thought I would put my query to the 'experts'. I have been a loyal user of RRT since the start and now have RRT3 however could someone tell me if MSTS is the same style of game or how does it differ? Naturally I'm looking for unbiased views but I realize that loyalties may make that a little difficult! Many thanks for any assistance.Dean South Australia
Totally different animals, RRT3 you play CEO of the company, in MSTS you play Engineer, and actually run the trains to there location, etc.And In that regards, what's more appealing to you? Hostilely taking over your competitor, stealing there customers, and playing the stock market (RRT3)orTaking a priority train of fruit over the mountains while trying to maintain speed, while getting red signals from the train ahead, and then dealing with trying to keep it slow and steady when you go down the mountain (MSTS)My self, I have both Games, and Enjoy them both, They just control different aspects of the RRShawn Kenselaar, shawnssk@yahoo.com Texture Toucher & Ad designer for TKW & YLW, Forum Mod. Feel free to e-mail me. Holiday Plans: Spending time with that special No one (Just like the last 19 years), Closing the orphanage, and Evicting helpless people & Raising Taxes Muahahahahh!!! The NYO&W.. Running from somewhere to nowhere, But never forgotten
Thanks for the info. I have always enjoyed RRT but previous forays into actually controlling an engine in other games has lead to extreme failure! This is brought about by the fact I have no idea what I'm doing coupled with a lack of patience. I guess I could make a new attempt to see if I can master it. Thanks again for your assistance.Dean.
