Hi everyone,I'm looking for someone to create a track file for me. I'm attending a Rail Traffic Control course at a college in Calgary, Alberta. Our program has TD3, which we use for exercises in planning railway operations. The school uses a fictional training subdivision for ease of learning. We would like to see if this subdivision could be created for TD3.I can provide complete and extremely detailed timetable information and track schematics for this subdivison if anyone would be willing to create this for us.If you are interested in lending a hand, reply to this post or email me at andrew.pickell@edu.sait.ab.ca Andrew Pickell

I might be able to take a stab. If you can email the information, that is.Unfortunately, I won't be able to start until January. I'm up to my armpits in other projects.Steveshart(at)wrightbg.com

RE: Looking for a track file creator...

Andrew,
Does the version of TD3 you are using in training have more realistic sounds? I was a Train Dispatcher for CPR (D&H) out of Minneapolis. I was in training when CP still had the office open in Milwaukee (in the Amtrak depot). They had a dispatcher simulator in a back room in Milwaukee but it was never used for my training. The closest I got to training with TD3 was in Montreal when I went though rules classes. They had a couple of offices with RTC simulators. You might try to contact the Minneapolis office. One of the SOO Line dispatchers is really into TD3 and supposedly building routes for it.-DJT
