In those gamespot movies people appear to be walking through closed doors. Does anyone now if there will be a button to open doors or if the conductors will automatically do it? Or will the doors not open at all .Thanks

Well, if Kuju made animated people to go in and out of the passenger cars, then it should be a standard to have those cars with animated doors. I'm sure that they won't just leave it as it is now. As for operating the doors either by pushing a button or opening and closing them automatically by pulling in and out of a station, I do not know.

The current movies are of an alpha build. When finished, the passenger cars will have opening doors. Cheers! Marc - 3DTrains http://www.3dtrains.comPro Series SuperPacks
So far everything that has been shown has been centered around animated passengers. The fact that MSTS 2 is going to have animated passenger doors opening and closing makes me wonder about the freight side. I wonder if MSTS 2 is going to have freight cars with animated doors along with animated freight?Edward K.
Yeah - just imagine AI-controlled forklifts or delivery vans moving in to the freight cars on the siding, or gantry cranes picking up containers and offloading them onto AI lorries which would then move out of the yard and onto the road...I know I'm dreaming, folks ... >I know I'm dreaming, folks ... All the animations for forklifts, cranes, etc. will be there - as to whether they can interact with actual freight I don't know, but suspect that someone here will figure out how to make it work should it slip the release. You could make animals like a passenger car and create animals (or other animated things) that the game thinks are people, and make the the forklifts and cranes like people who are waiting for the next train... Just a thought!Formerly Known as Metrolover in till the forum software started to hate me.
Yes it could, but i doubt it will get that extreme though. But that would be fun to create a livestock yard and have cows and horses moving around like the people.
