Can anyone tell us for definate which UK route will be included in MSTS 2. In the press releases so far, there's been no mention of a UK route. But according to this post here from CJMaclean, the Somerset and Dorset line is to be included.Alright! Let's just sum up again - we get the Horseshoe Curve, the NS route you mentioned, a modern-day German mainline at least from Cologne to Essen, the Somerset and Dorset line from Britain, and probably a Swiss route featuring at least part of BLS's network. Sounds good to me! Can anyone please confirm is this is true or not? Cheers
Yep, that's my summary . In fact, I believe the Somerset and Dorset route was, in fact, mentioned in another thread on this board, wasn't it? That's where I got that piece of information anyway. Dominik MannVisit www.tssf.de - www.bahn.de - http://mercurio.iet.unipi.it/ - www.eisenbahnforum.de
Okay,I kinda started that one, not without reason though. See http://www.sdjr.co.uk/SD7News.htmlI had a little email chat with the guy who runs that site. Apparently Microsoft/Kuju whoever asked for some maps and info (which presumably they got) regarding looking into the S&D as a route for MSTS2. But they have made no noises since. The British loco that we have seen is a preserved black 5, which doesn't rule out a lot since there were 842 of them built and they ran throughout the British Railways system (though mainly confined to the London Midland Region and Scottish Region since they were ex-LMS locos). The S&D fits with the loco and also with the type of route that could be made - i.e. not too complicated, quite scenic and quite famous. So it really is only the best hypothesis we have - until someone falsifies it by showing that it's the West Higland line, or the Lancaster-Carlisle for examples. What we need is someone to ask somebody at the Microsoft stand. (Or failing that email Kuju nicely after they fly home from E3, which must be pretty hectic for them)

------My favourite LUL train------ HAPPY NOW? It's not moving anymore. It's still the same train but in another livery, that's all.
