Well I do not wont to alarm anyone or start a rumor about MSTS 2 but I think Microsoft is not ever going to release it. Me and a good friend agree that this might happen. I mean look at the Microsoft's MSTS web page and you will no longer see MSTS 2 advertise. It has been removed from the the web page and I have not found anything about it on that web page unless I did not look in the right
spot. I to went to my local software company were I reserved my copy of MSTS 2 and was told it was now due out in June. I'll see it to believe when it really comes out.

RE: MSTS 2

Well - i for one am not concerned. First, MSTS1, though we ARE stretching the limits from time to time these days, is working well enough for me.Secondly, removing everything about MSTS2 is not surprising. ALL of the screenshots and news and such were all from the Kuju version. They can't very well use those anymore if they are doing a complete re-write or massive overhaul. Also, since the release date is now undetermined, they would not have any info to put up on the website.MS usually remains pretty tight-lipped about things. I don't think we'll see MSTS2 in the very near future, but i DO remain confident we WILL see it.------ BUZZ

RE: MSTS 2

I'll second that wholeheartedly, Emil !How about all of us MAILING (not E-Mailing) BILL GATES himself, asking him to give the Train-SIM Community, Media, Distributors and Retailers a hint they are doing something about MSTS-NEXT.After his IN-MAIL department gets fed-up opening truck loads of mail we might get a reaction ? This is what I would call "Good Marketing", getting everybody to look forward to it whenever it is going to be ready, making sure that PIGGY BANKS are full to pay for it ! O t t o

> OTTO , if you are so sure that msts 2 isn't going to happen ... Sorry Bob, but you lost me there !Where in this Forum or any other did I ever suggest that there is not going to be another MSTS ? Everything I do and say is to make sure that MICROSOFT are giving us with the next release what we want ! Here in our Forums / Fora and in the Computing / Gaming media ! I would not waste my breath if I were to think that there is not going to be another one ! Microsoft are not that stupid not to see a Cash Cow when it is staring them in the face ! O t t o

RE: MSTS 2

It was placed as a topic for opinion to see if someone might have a idea as to why MSTS 2 was advertised and then sort of quietly disappered with no more info.or progress or even a few more teasing screen shots. So I would have loved to here your thoughts about it instead of >.. so why you placed a topic. I did not mean anything by it,or starting anything ,just to here someone thoughts on MSTS 2 and talk about its progress.

RE: MSTS 2

Bill Gates "WHERE'S THE BEEF"???????? MSTS 2 has been delayed twice. Will it be delayed for a third? Only Microsoft knows. One thing we all might find interesting is that the sales person at the software store told me she was surprised to see that the MSTS interest was growing very fast and a whole lot of buyers were wonting to buy MSTS and like me have reserved their copy of MSTS 2. So like the rest of you guys I think it will be released ( fingers crossed )I hope this June. Horseshoe Curve here I come! Well aleast in MSTS 2 anyway. In real life engineers from areas were they run in the mountains, they call us flatlanders. Todd
