1) you have to fully start up the train. push shift+2 to bring up an electrical panel and you have to flick all the swiches to get the train started up. they do this in flight sim- why not train sim?2) better screen. option to select full screen or non full screen- also a menu bar at the top where you can select your trains, routes ect. just like flight sim
Don't know about you, Brent, but I like to get my heavy jets up into the air as quickly as possible with Autostart, letting it set all the necessary switches and set up the FMC.One could spend hours just going through the pre-flight checks in large Commercial planes ! Landing one of these is what gets my Adrenaline going, the same as when I put a real single engine plane gently back onto the runway, I still do occasionally !Reducing the screen down to the task bar can be done with Alt-Tab. Not much point reducing the screen to a smaller window ? I would want my screen to be LARGER, Plasma TV here I come ! Reducing the screen to a smaller window is usually done to run another program as well, flicking between windows, not a good idea with MSTS ! Selections Menu Bar at the top, hidden when not needed is not saving much time having to Esc a Route to select another one and Rolling Stock for it.I would rather have the M$ programmers concentrating an getting the basics right, too many having been found to be wanting and mentioned over the years here in this forum and also bring Graphics Capability and Performance up to FS-2004 standards ! Will have to wait and see ! O t t o
