MSTS 2 Strategy Book

May be this is old news but I see on the Amazon website the MSTS 2 book is already being sold. Has anyone bought it ?Doug

Oh for Pete's sake, the product is probably a year away, nobody knows half the stuff that's going to be in it, how in blazes is the strategy guide going to be out? Use some common sense and logic! That was probably the expected release date of the strategy guide based on the expected release date of MSTS2. We know that's changed, they probably just haven't changed the date for the guide. I tell you, people are getting larger, the levels of dangerous gases in the atmosphere is increasing, television screens are getting bigger, insurance premiums are skyrocketing, but common sense and logic is at an all time low.Koz

I'am just dealing with what is in front of me. There is the Strategy Book for sale on Amazon. It says nothing about back-order or that is has not been released.That is the only point I was trying to make. There was no editorial comment behind what I saw.My question again is....has anyone "tried" to buy it ? That is all I'am asking.

Roland,my problem with doing that is that I would still not get enough exercise reading books, unless I go down to my local library, too far to walk, need the car, sitting down again ! Take Care, O t t o.

I've found most of these strategy books couldn't teach you anymore than you would discover on your own in less than two weeks after you bought the sim. I've be a sucker a few times with the flight sim books and soon found it was money thrown down the tubes. Never again!

Agreed... how much strategy is there in MSTS? It's pretty straightforward. Strategy books for SimCity or more complex games are a better way to spend your money if you have those games, I learned a lot from the SimCity2000 strategy book I had. Tim Frost

Well it says it will not arrive until after Dec. 24th. Also, it has no picture on the front so I would agree by saying it was based on kuju's development. I had a impulse to buy it, but I didnt.

Thanks all for the replies. I found many humorous replies. Its great to see how people read into your questions I too would never buy the book. I just was looking for investigative leads to get info.(amazon.com) on a release date. I could not care less for the content of the book.I am still always amazed how MS can keep secreats.Thanks again.Doug
