My other Post having been locked because there were references to a Non-MSTS product in it, although there are plenty more in a number of other Threads here, I would like to repeat what I said before, slightly modified, emphasising what I want from TRAIN SIMS in general and as the title of the post indicates, from MSTS in particular !My DREAM is a Train Sim which lets me open a Map of it, like in the AE but showing more Scenery details like in the RE, place a Player Consist anywhere, add other Consists, Locos and Rolling stock and drive FREESTYLE where I want to, doing what I want, SAVING along the Route to User Named Activities. To include going back to this MAP or clicking on a certain part of Screen Displayed Consists or Locos, changing to the clicked-on Consist, Loco or change the Driver position from one end of a Loco or Trainset to the other and then drive it forward in the changed direction. Could also allow adding more Consists or Rolling Stock and quickly move existing elsewhere rather than driving them there ?Edit-P.S: Forgot to mention realistic Wheels-on-Track and Switches Sound, properly synchronised with the speed of Trains and existing Track Joints. Correct CHUFF-CHUFF Steam Locos Sound matching the rotation of the wheels, 4 per one rotation of the driving wheels would do, ignoring the number of cylinders used by the loco and a lot more there is not enough room here to list it all ! Will we ever get that sort of Functionality in any Train Sim ? O t t oP.S.: I hope that this is now "Politically Correct" and will avoid further unwarranted Censorship ! It's not my fault that some people go off the deep end whenever they read something not to their liking !

Otto, go post this at Auran. We will know what is on MSTS when it comes. These "I wish", "I hope", "I want" posts are getting boring. I am glad you like Trainz, but with a 6 limit on AI, it will be boring. I would rather purchase RRT3.Kevin Arceneaux

RE: MSTS Utopia - Part 2

Kevin, first of all this post has nothing to do with anything but MSTS, the Subject Title says so !I did ask in the other Forum, but the response was equally helpful ! If you find some posts "boring" then don't read them or reply.I just hope that somebody in charge of the Main Train Sim Vendor Design Teams takes notice because I am buying no more until I get what I want ! O t t o.

RE: MSTS Utopia - Part 2

I'm going to put my butt right out on the limb cause I'm tired of this. People like Kevin who have been around for a while and feel that they can dictate what should or should not be posted. If you don't like something that someone wishes to say don't make yourself look like more of an ass. Me I'm willing to at this moment cause I'm tired of it. I come here to read mature posts and half the time I see stuff like this and I just close the window but this once I felt that enough is enough. Oh also Kevin until i see you as a moderator quit being a police officer.AL

RE: MSTS Utopia - Part 2

Hi Al,Members of this forum had it out with Kevin over his attitude a number of times, to the point of him saying that he is packing it in.Nothing is ever going to change him ! If Forum Members want to continue benefiting from his undoubtedly vast MSTS experience they will have to put up with his attitude and manner, or get rid of him for good ?

Anybody would care to put this to a vote via a POLL ?O t t o

Go for it. Do you really think I care or will follow what the poll results are?Kevin Arceneaux

RE: MSTS Utopia - Part 2

Of course not. And there is no reason for a poll anyway.I have no respect for a person who says he is leaving, then comes back anyway, though I didn't know why he felt he had to leave in the first place. Maybe just self seeking, I don't know.Kevin is a pain, and his activities are boring, but so are some others. I expect some feel the same about me, though I don't update activities. Who cares?Kevin has every right to be on here, along with everyone else. We live in a democratic world. David

>Kevin has every right to be on here, along with everyone
>else. We live in a democratic world. Actually being in this forum is kind of privilege as it could be taken away by the admin without any reasoning or anything.
