>I don't think they wil be that stupid to release it after >Christmas. >They usually do it before Christmas True.... isnt that what they did with MSTS1? and look at all the Buggies we have So maybe they had second thoughts on the Release date and decided the more time the better!Robert Steskal Philadelphia, Pa
>True.... isnt that what they did with MSTS1? and look at all >the Buggies we have Well, technically yes, but it was actually more like late May or early June of 2001. -Sam
Andre,MICROSOFT rushed FS-2000 to get it to market before Christmas in that year, a total disaster until FS-2002 was released.I think that M$-KUJU are having second thoughts after looking at the competition, not mentioned here so a not to offend anybody. I would not be surprised to see the release date moving well into 2004 to make sure that MSTS-2004 will be the TOP TRAIN SIM OF THE DAY !!! Any bets, anybody ? O t t o
As I already mentioned in another thread, in Germany pre-orderers at amazon.com evidentially got an Email saying that MSTS 2 will be delivered in April 2004...
Looking at MSTS 1, we know it was rushed out. The major operational issues along with the small stuff such as shape files missing their sd files. I don't believe Microsoft/Kuju wants to see a repeat, especially with Trainz 2004 coming out shortly. The further they push back the release date, the more bugs they can find and who knows, more that can be done with the second release. The big question is though, will they be more on the ball with a patch this time around if it is needed???Edward K.
