Well I did preorder it just incase everyone go's out and buys it and preordering assures me a copy . Same with the Latest Grand Theft Auto game for PS2 if I would not have preordered it I would have had to wait another few weeks .My website for MSTS Pic's www.msnusers.com/shanestrains

It really depends who you preorder from. Not all distributers get product at the same time.In theory, stores are given a date to put product on the shelves. This date is supposed to be after all the preorders have been filled. The store generally receives product several days in advance of the "release". However, some don't play by the rules and put it on the shelf as soon as it shows up, which kind of hoses the folks who preordered. In theory this shouldn't happen.-Jeff

I didn't and will not. I pre-ordered MSTS when it was first coming out, as I did not know if it would be available locally and none of the stores could (or would) tell me. The day after MSTS was released, surprise, surprise, the local stores had it. As my pre-ordered copy had already been shipped, I had to wait longer by pre-ordering.And the situtation is a little different now. I was anxious to get MSTS, as I didn't have anything remotely like it. Since I've got MSTS already, it won't bother me if I have to wait a while before getting MSTS II.

I have mine ordered from Amazon UK at a discounted price of £25.99 - about $43. It doesn't seem to be listed on their US site.Bill

Why preorder? I'm a conservative soul in that matter. Nothing beats the feeling of actually buying a product in a store, and actually seeing the product and not just a screenshot!
