When I review my list of things to improve in MSTS 2, so many of them come back to couplers1) Sound - I want the noise of couplers slamming together when I accelerate or brake. Even better, I want the noise to propagate from the front of the train to the back when I brake or accelerate. And I want helper locos to modify how the slack is taken in.2) breakage physics ....well, we all know some of the problems with unwanted coupler breakage in V1, and frankly, I'm not sure if unwanted breakage can or will be fixed in V2, as it seems to be route related. Anway, I want couplers to break when I abuse the train. Slam the locos into run 8, couplers break. Loco slips on a grade at run 8, couplers break. 3) Appearance - this is one of my biggest wants, I want a coupler that looks like a Kadee #58, not a withered horn-hook. And an actual FRED device at the rear of the train would be nice also. And air hoses hanging down or coupled as appropriate and andI'm sure this has been discussed before.

RE: Couplers in MSTS 2

Hey Tim. Ya, me still kicking. Work has been nuts plus I've got a few MSTS projects I'm quite involved with. I got a couple of emails from Gord, just haven't really had time to deal with em yet. Say hi to Gord for me ... and tell him I haven't forgotten about him either. Ray
