Found this at the MSTS Insider, don't think it's been posted here yet (sorry if it has):'John Monson, Train Simulator Program Manager, has just come from an arduous trip from the UK where the Train Simulator 2 developer, Kuju, is headquartered. He’s plainly tired but just as plainly pumped up by the crowd reaction to the Train Simulator product. John takes a moment to share his thoughts with the Insider.

The response has been fabulous; it’s clear that we have an eager and anxious market out there waiting to see the new Train Simulator. They are glad to see that we are committed the franchise, extending it with new content while still supporting the content from version 1.
I’ve been particularly pleased to see the interest from the Japanese press. They are happy to see another Japanese route that will ship in the box at RTM*.
The international press has been enthusiastic about the addition of the German route; they are blown away by the realism, they can even recognize buildings they have seen while traveling. The level of fidelity and accuracy has surprised even the harshest critics.
The volume of activity on the forums has been phenomenal. There is obviously a really pent up demand for this product amongst the fans. They have been running amok on the different train sim forums with tons of positive comments literally pouring out of them.
The addition in this version of a living world with people in the game has really added a dimension to the simulation that engages players and delights them.
We are very pleased to see such a high level of enthusiasm around the next version of Train Simulator. With all the new features and the wonderful new content, I’m confident that train simmers will find it more enjoyable than ever.'
Points of interest:* The Japanese Route will ship with the box (not as a bonus)* Shows some people of M$ do actually listen on the forums!
That's all so far. I think there should be another press release from M$ in a day or two, that seems to be the impression at UKTrainSim.
