Hi Everyone. For those who are wondering why It's taking so long... I'm Still working on the ECML (i think i'm now over a year doing this now!) Although I've been quite busy. I'm also waiting to get the internet installed in my room, hence the reason why i haven't posted any screenshots. I also have no access to my FTP right now, so there has been no site updates, and indeed, it is not a priority in my life. Much of the time i have spent up to now has been developing certain things. Catenery, for instance. I'm still not completely finished developing that yet, as i thought the wires aren't very visible, I'm working on beefing them up, but as i'm working in 25,50 and 75m spacings, it's taking a while The trackwork is mostly finished. the only stuff that remains to be done is to place the sidings into doncaster works (i've reached the number of tracks limit) but the new track sections are to die for! Signalling is about 75% done. this also includes flashing yellows on approach to doncaster (I'm using my own signals instead of default BVE ones) Passing trains are being made from photorealistic textures, and they really look the part. I've also placed many of the bridges on the route and i am awaiting info on ground contours before i place landscape. I've been working on Doncaster station for 5 months now, which is being made up from phototextures, and again, looks alot like the real thing. I'd just like to thank you for your patience and will upload some screensots as soon as it is possible for me to do so. cheers. TomBoyRacer

Sounds very good! Cant wait to see some screenshots of the route, I have been looking forward to this one for a while. Can you give us some more details to drool over please?Keep it going ==================== James Dickinson www.brj.rr.nu - BVE from around the UK.
hehe. It's York- Doncaster and it's around 35 ish miles. that doesn't take long at 125 mph. it's also been done in such a way that i could extend it or do the section before York. I could 'stage' some screenshots to show you the kind of thing to expect, but these will take a while! I don't recall the exact date i started but it was over a year ago now... I was working on a night version and a version via Selby, but chances are they're not going ahead now. i think without screenies that's all i can give ya...
