Hi EveryoneFinally took a brave pill and decided to post, I am in the process of making a D stock for BVE with the help of some other developers and the cab has just been finished, the speedo's are missing and the ones that you see in the panel are the real ones but the others are the same. Just in the process of sorting out the sounds which will take me ages but I hope to finish it soon. SO here is the photo realistic cab, which is not perfect put bear in mind this is my first train attempt so I am going with the flow at the moment.

Hi Tom,If that's a first attempt then I for one am waiting eagerly for your 100th Seriously, that's a damn fine cab you have there... is the handle going to be animated? As for D stock sounds, there is a wee chance I *might* be able to help, but don't remind me until well after Christmas CiaoSaxon Locomotive Works - "The difficult we do immediately; the impossible takes a little longer"http://www.zodiac-infosystems.co.uk/rail/bve

Thanks for the kind words Wulf!!!!. I am trying to animate the handle but I am currently getting to grips with the coding so as you can imagine it is a lot of trial and error at the moment (And I mean a lot). Thanks for the kind offer for the sounds, I actually have a few samples(from a D stock) but that is the most challanging bit. Playing around with the train editor and seeing what happens basically. I am going tp try and get some better ones and just plug away till I get it right, but rest assured I won't release it until the sounds are just right .EDIT: Must thank Joshim Nur and John Owen for their help (and listening to me wine) up to this point. Thanks a lot guys!!!!!!

Looks very nice. You might take a second brave pill and ask Solidbond for use of his D78 sounds from the videos? Alternatively I have a few which Jack sent me a while ago.--

I think the button on the top left side are facing the wrong way.

-----You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!-----
Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it.
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it.
Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)!
It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet.
Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...

>I
>don't really know what is wrong with the buttons as they are
>for cab pics... Look at the top left two buttons. I think they should be facing the driver instead of the door.

Well Stoopid it is a photo so unless LU have decided to change the design of the cab just for me I think that is the way it should be.

LOL I feel like saying 'gotcha' but I won't The angles may have been distorted due to the use of a wide-angle lens... well that's my guess anyway CiaoSaxon Locomotive Works - "The difficult we do immediately; the impossible takes a little longer"http://www.zodiac-infosystems.co.uk/rail/bve
