Joshim - would be greatful with a PM (LU+R pref.) or email detailing how you did this - would prove helpful in the Fight Against 9 I think...-- Tom Beevers http://brj.rr.nu
Tell you what, why not I "reveal" the secret?! Its not really a secret at all really. I investigated at what point (or points) the route stopped loading, and it seemed to be at the null object file. I then asked for help (as you may recall in another topic) and I mentioned the null object file. In previous versions of BVE the null object file could be absolutely blank, but this BVE.net version is a little bit more fussy. Little things like filenames and characters used in them, like brackets I found to be misbehaving. It seems to be in different places and perhaps its just a BETA bug.The null objects just need a single CreateMeshBuilder statement as opposed to being just blank. Feel free to ask any additional questions, although I am not a fountain of knowledege, someone else here (or collaboratively) will try to answer your questions.
You're right about this version being fussier. It took me a couple hours to figure out why my route wouldn't load in 2.9 without an exception error but worked fine in 2.5.It was because I had a .formL but no .formCL to go with it,so I added a .formCL using null.csv and it worked fine.Im sure other routes will turn up with minor errors that will keep them from loading.
Thats waht I meant, I found in some other routes the same problem, and some thing taht we dont use, just have to be declared with a blank statement!?I am still pondering as to why the VTCl86 object does not appear...
