Bve 2.9 temporary folder and its interesting contents – image 1

If you have run the new beta 2.9 and started a route, a folder named Bve has been automatically created under your Temp folder.Its location depends on Windows version and possibly changed settings.
Mine (under Windows XP) is E:\DOCUME~1\Luigi\IMPOST~1\Temp\Bve
To discover your path to this folder, open a command window and type set temp then press return, something like this will be showed:E:\Documents and Settings\Luigi>set temp
TEMP=E:\DOCUME~1\Luigi\IMPOST~1\Temp
E:\Documents and Settings\Luigi>Well, contents of this folder, I think, can be interesting to train builders to understand in what way the various .bmp files of the train (panel, brake, etc...) are arranged by the new Bve engine.
There is also a new panel.cfg named upgrade.panel and some bmps showing various needels.I hope this can excite the imagination of people like Steve Green, Robert Glass, Martin Finken, etc... hehe... Cheers,
Luigi Cartello
