Yesterday I tried to run a new BVE beta-version. I installed NET framework and than run bvesetup.msi. In mackoy folder I had BVE and BVE.NET. BVE.NET (beta 2.90) didn't run, I writed it about on another message. But when I tried to run "old" BVE 2.5.3 (Mittelspitze), I can't change infos in down right corner (by pressing shift+F3)! When I tried to show timetable (F4), program got crazy and started to blink and I had to exit BVE. I had to uninstall BVE.NET and NET framework to running correct old 2.5.3 version!! So I ask - have you similar experience? And when will be new version 2.90 ready, shall we can run old BVE too?
I have experienced no such problems. BVE 2.9 and BVE 2.5.3 co-exist perfectly on my system.I am running Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4Tim Frost NVTA Subway routes for BVE: The Union Atlantic Railroad: Your stuff's important!

The only problem, other then "pixelated" panels, is the different way that the new version uses to display elements of repetitive objects in sharp curves (only radii greater then 150 meters are almoast compliant).Luigi Cartello http://bve.altervista.org/ http://web.tiscali.it/lcartello/
Hello Vince,I had the same problem the first time I installed 2.9. I even had to erase everything (luckely not the Railway map) and install 2.5 again to get it working. My mistake was putting 2.9 in the same folder as 2.5 (program Files/BVE) Now I have a different folder for 2.9 (Program Files/Mackoy) and everything works perfect. I don't have a new and extremely fast computer (AMD Duron 800, 512 SDram,Gforce2 MX400 64 mb), but 2.9 improves framerates and driving fysics a bit.Hope this solves your problem, otherwise I don't knowGreetings,Jaap Stegers
Hi,maybe this is my mistake too, I tried it again and now it's running both O.K. Problem can be in language windows setting too, because I changed my czech setting to english and bve 2.9 runs O.K. now too! Thanks
>Both versions run perfectly (21 fps fixed for 2.53 and 50-60 >fps for 2.9). Try using Windows Media Player in the background in 2.53. Will boost your frame rate to 30fps.
