Here's something else I've found. Kinda like another limitation in BVE. It seems like the train doors don't want to close when it's on a route that loops onto itself. I'm thinking that with the IRT 1904 route I'm building, I should divide it into two parts because of this problem: 157th St. to City Hall, and City Hall to 157th St.If anyone can help solve this problem, so that the train can continue through the City Hall loop without loading a different file, let me know, and I'll greatly appreciate it. Here's a code snippet from the CSV file:

The signals were won't be in the final version as they appear. The GYR type of signal was not implemented in 1904. Instead, it was a modified semaphore system, with the trippers (as the system now has), with - over - meaning stop (red), \ over - meaning caution (yellow), and \ over \ meaning clear (green).

RE: Routes that loop onto itself.

That's also the case for the Circle line, but I'll have to try that. Maybe by labelling everything as "SB" for southbound, and "NB" for northbound would either (A) fix it, (B) have no effect, or (C) cause more problems. Maybe it's the loop, maybe it isn't. That loop does have a 45m radius at one point.Routes that loop onto itself – image 3

The times for the two brooklyn bridge stations are the same:
22700,.sta Brooklyn Bridge;9.5730;9.5745;0;1;1,,,
22900,.station City Hall;9.5900;10.0000;1;ats ,,
23200,.sta Brooklyn Bridge;9.5730;9.5745;0;1;1,,,But i'm not sure how that could effect it negatively, but thought I'd point that out to fool around with.Otherwise, I guess you could also try the other suggestion and add an N on the end of the station name for northbound.PS. looks like you might be lucky and have that released at the same time as the final new version of BVE, should be beautiful in the end.

I can assure you that duplicated station names are not the problem. My Blue Line runs... (not publicly at the moment, but I am working on it) Stapleton-Lawrence
Control Ctr Loop
Stapleton-Lawrence...and has no problems. The control center loop station is not on a tight curve, though there are several leading up to the station. BVE will accept any station combinations given to it, provided they are all at different locations. Remember, BVE doesn't read your route like a book, it reads it like a map. You don't care what is on a map, because whatever is on the map is likely there IRL. A book on the other hand is open for interpretation. That's the best analogy I can come up with.I also doubt that it has to do with how close together the stations are. Control center loop and the second stapleton/lawrence are only about 300m apart. This works in both the new and old versions of BVE.I suppose telling you what it is NOT isn't too much help, but if nothing else I hope it helps with process of elimination. Looking forward to the route. Tim Frost

Problem
.station City Hall;9.5900;10.0000;1;ats ,,Change the word ATS to either 1 or -1, depending on whether the door opens on the right or left.

--You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!--
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it?
Told you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted 5 seconds!

IT'S THE SIGNALS!

IT’S THE SIGNALS!Well, I've tried typing "(NB)" at the second Brooklyn Bridge station, and it didn't work. But then, I tried something else: remove the signals around the City Hall Loop. I guess, that no matter how far away the signal is from the starting position, the train will wait until that signal is clear, even if it's 14km away.
