Hi all !!Right iI have heard alot about this sim and decided that I ought to download and have a go, but I have run into problems from the start.I have downloaded BVE english vers from the main site and the uchibo8 but when I extract/unzip to a file I have named BVE temp i get errors The first as I unzip BVE it says error in ......bve.cab CRC 25381229 and dosen't unzip properly, also when I go to unzip uchibo i get CRC error also.I am running XP with a good spec PC, but Thought the new version was compatible with XP.Please help ripping my hair out here, seems like there could be an error in the download, as that what the error message comes up with, have tried many times and the same error comes up.MTIAM

RE: Errors from the Start

Hmmm, don't think I need a Dl Manager for a 2meg Download on BroadBand.Has anyone else experienced problems downloading the new version.I get a complete and uninterupted download of both files, though it seems like they may be something missing.cheers

Hi
you say you are running XP. If memory serves me correctly this OS has a built in firewall which sometimes causes this pronlem.Disable it and use your virus protection to check it.
Don't forget to switch it back on afterwatds.Gheers

RE: Errors from the Start

Actually I think you are right, the XP firewall runs in addition to my Norton FW & has has caused no end of problems in the past. But all okay now, have downloaded loads of trains and Loco's and quite a few British routes. Birmingham, Wat-MK, Jubilee Line. Now after BedPan but can't seem to find any and Brighton-London would be a help to. Would also like to find Crianlarich to Fort Bill, saw something the other day, but I've lost it
