Hi All,I'm currently in the process of upgrading the EMUs on my site to include high quality stereo sounds, recorded straight from the real thing (tm). The 314, 334 and 318 are all being completely redeveloped, and there will be a few character versions too.I'm putting special effort into getting the lovely whine from the AC motors sounding as close as I possibly can. Here's a sneaky preview of the new class 314: (this sound was recorded directly from BVE, with no manipulation at all)http://homepage.ntlworld.com/zerosignal/class314-preview-1.mp3 (980k)Here's the real thing to compare it to :http://homepage.ntlworld.com/zerosignal/314leave.mp3 (311k)DavidBVE in Glasgow: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/zerosignal/bve/
David,Glad to see (and hear!) you getting back into the swing... those sounds are excellent, in fact quality-wise there's no diff. at all... brilliant job Ciao Saxon Locomotive Works - "The difficult we do immediately; the impossible takes a little longer"http://www.zodiac-infosystems.co.uk/rail/bve
I like it... any chance that the cl 220/221 could be updated if only with the door closing sounds. i dont know how to do it you see.Or alternatively someone could direct me to instructions or something, thanks in advance, fran
Hi,>Will there be a NEW panel with the new sounds for the >class314 or are you leving that? I won't be updating the panel on the 314 as there's not much wrong with it. I might create a night version if I find the time. The 334 will be getting a whole new cab, though.DavidBVE in Glasgow: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/zerosignal/bve/
