as we speak, it's not possible to change directions in BVE, as the routes are meant to be coded in one direction only. however, I believe various parties are working towards making reversal software, but I couldn't tell you much about what they're doing as I don't know's doing what right now.

RE: Changing BVE Routes

If the route was coded in RouteBuilder, then this is possible.

Eh, where did my signature go?
Where has my favourite LUL train gone? Maybe it was sent for bolt checking again...

Well, i was making a program that would do this, but then stopped as i cant realease it because of reasons i am not at liberty to say.Joshim (Routemaster J ) says he has one, but he said nothing more since ages ago about it.
There is always doing it manually. . .but this will take months of cutting and pasting.Pete

RE: Changing BVE Routes

Pete,If you want to stay around here and be treated respectfully I suggest you buck up your attitude and let go of the past.Joshim is a respected BVE author and has shows his capabilities with programming are proven. He is also not known to be a liar.A long quote from Joshim. "The program is SOOOO bad that it requires heavy knowledege of the way it was programmed is required to use it, in other words it is only I who can use it, and anyone else will find it EXTREMELY DIFFICULT as this was done shortly after learing how to use Visual Basic after my A-Levels!
Anyway, it produced some rather odd results, Track 0 is reversed, but 1,2,3 etc. i.e. all the other tracks wre not properly done. Whilst loading in to something like track viewer or even BVE, every 25m will come up with errors (Southern V1 came up with about 25-50 every 25m!)Anyway thats when I discovered that scenery was not coded to be visible on reverse, and that when I began coding my own route. All of this happened when I newly discovered BVE and was tinkering with my knowledge after having got a grade A in my Compuing A-level!"Read and digest. If you want to stay here longer change. If not within time another argument will appear and we'll see another "I'm leaving" statement from you I predict. Also, whilst your current attitude continues I want NO add ons for my downloads on the subject of night cabs produced based on the fact in your current state I don't want assosciation with you in anyway, even if the productions are of a decent quality.Sorry for the unhappy tone peeps.

>Pete Pete mate, we've had discussions on and off group, but I really really do suggest you leave it because there really is no point trying to make an effort when you are equally destroying it.

I think you're all being a little hotheaded here. Pete didn't appear to mean any harm.On the other hand, there was no need for him to say that. Now why don't we all take another lesson learned and move on?Tim Frost

In the end this still comes down to a bit of politeness and proper procedure.... if anyone makes any modifications to a train or route, then IMO the FIRST AND ONLY PERSON to get a look at the work should be the original author, until they give their sanction it is not advisable to post any mention of it, since no-one likes finding out info by a second-hand method that they feel should have been presented to them personally in the first place.
This also avoids embarrassment resulting from announcing something then having to issue a retraction notice and claiming some kind of waffle as the excuse because what you really mean is you pissed the guy off and he refused you permission... sound familiar?CiaoSaxon Locomotive Works - "The difficult we do immediately; the impossible takes a little longer"http://www.zodiac-infosystems.co.uk/rail/bve

Means I'll do what I can with the availiable resources and time I have to alter and update the sounds to make it an even better download Joe B. This does not indicate a competing pack, it means updating the one Pete sent to me and making it a joint project.
