The New BVE Night Panels Set – image 1

If you wanted to know what happened to BVEAC, well its still here, and working, but two seperate authors do not want their work being made public. So i cant realease it. And i will prove it with a route screen.
After reading some of the comments in my last post ("BVEAC- I'm Leavving") then i am unsure if i want to realease my night cabs, because it is clear that some do not like me here. But then that would not be fair on the others who do want it.
Maybe a special request system would be called in here.Till i see what people think of the 4 i have done so far, i cant say anything. Enjoy!Pete
All copyright is of the panel's respective owners. I am having a "Blitz Out" after the weekend of doing loads more, as i am going to Birmingham, therefore can ask drivers questions. The New BVE Night Panels Set – image 2

They really do look great... but I don't think you'd find many HST's out on the line to Redditch. EDIT: A backlit effect on the gauges might be nice. Tim Frost

the HST and 319 have got their panels lit, the 4-CIG and 143 need work though, but i am making loads of things ATM.

great work, peter. I have some constructive criticism in that you may want to get rid of the residual photoflash around the speedometer casing on the HST. can't wait to give that a spin on the night version of the ECML...
when i've actually built it........

Having spent some time on the trains, not these versions, (pictured above) I can honestly say they are excellently made. They arent just trains, they give BVE more charecter, they go well with the 323 night panel we have.

I never criticised his work, nor did I say anything about it. I simply did not like the way he dealt with so called "Copyright Breeches". It was after all Zazzy Bob who simply refered to the fact that anyone can take screenies of a few thing knocked up in VB. Anyway the proof in puddings in the eating, so I still am sceptical...Besides you won't need so much stuff to keep you busy when BRR v10 comes out... (THATS ALL I AM SAYING ON THAT MATTER)Oh just one more thing, er you still can achieve the "night time" panel effect by openeing it up in say MS Photo Editor and changing the contrast brightness and gamma...As for small lights in the button (like the 319 screenie) the door opn/off bitmap cand be left as is...So It still could be a fake. Anyway thats enough sceptism for now, I certainly do hope that this isn't hype, and if its the real McCoy then, actually I'll save that for when its out...and on a more light hearted note, I wonder how that CIG is managing to get power from OHLE?!

>Oh just one more thing, er you still can achieve the "night time" panel effect by openeing it up in say MS Photo Editor and changing the contrast brightness and gamma...Yeah, so? The fact is, that I am doing it, so others do not have to.
Whatever happened to your route reverser, and im not sure what you were refering to when you said about fakes.
If it was the panels above, I am just waiting on permission then they'll be sent to http://www.bvetrains.co.uk/ for download.Pete

In peter's defence, I attempted to take a night shot of a class 67 cab, and the various LEDs and bulbs confused my camera to an extent that the pictures where unusable, and even if he did doctor the images, it does represent some work done on his part.

RE: The New BVE Night Panels Set

The New BVE Night Panels Set – image 22

here are the modified ones, i know the HST's speedo is now a bit square, but i'll do that a bit later.
Still not sure if they look right, but these are just a temp measure, because they are not hard to do, and im sure when some people from the right regions have some time, they may try it themselves.
PeteBTW: I am going to realease the HST as "night_hsta"....Night version: HST, Alpha Work it out!lol
