I would say half half. On short routes, I'd drive them with BVE, but long routes like Edinburgh-Dundee, I usually look with TrackViewer, since I notice it is in the countryside and there's not much scenary to see anyway.

Me too, except it doesnt matter on size.I like to use track viewer and the normal bve, perhaps there should be an option for both (with help from brr;)), eventhough the time i probably up for modifacation
Voted for driving, but I agree with my slow computer I do view some of the longer ones with track viewer. Can't wait for my upgrade at xmas, then it won't matter anymore.Tom
It depends what I use really. When I want to ride, I would use the BVE program itself but when I'm bored or not bothered, I normally use TrackViewer. I do agree with Joshim, that TrackViewer is good for screenshots, but how are you meant to put the program at full screen so that you can take better screenshots without the menus etc.?Anas Hassan -
As far as I am concerned The answer to big success and respect is INDEPENDENCE
Trackviewer is not meant to be fullscreen, so you can code in one window and look at the changes in another. If you want to take a screen with it, you should just take the screenshot as normal and crop it in your favourite image editor so the menus and your desktop do not show.Tim Frost NVTA Subway routes for BVE: http://nvta.co.uk
>Trackviewer is not meant to be fullscreen, so you can code >in one window and look at the changes in another. It can be almost full screen, if you change your resolution to 640x480. But the TaskBar will cover your distance/zoom, etc... So make your taskbar auto-hide or uncheck "always on top".
