I have tried installing 2 BVEs in seperate folders, one that runs in windowed mode and one that does not(full screen). But if a adjust one to run in windowed mode, the other runs in windowed as well. If I run the other in full screen mode, the first one runs in full screen mode as well. So the 2 BVEs in different folders(and different versions) are connected someway? Presently, I have 3 BVEs version, one BVE 2.3, BVE 2.5(To run X-City and Edin-Aber ) and BVE2.3(window), with all the trains and routes in the first BVE 2.3. I also notice, that in BVE 2.5, I can navigate to a file outside the BVE 2.5 folder to run, but in BVE 2.3(window), I cannot. I will assume it is still in the same folder. As in it will still find the objects and train files in it's own folder although it has already navigated to a new directory.
The reason why I want to have 2 versions of BVE, is that when playing BVE, I will use full screen, but when modifying/developing, I will use window mode, as it is easier to click between Wordpad and BVE in windowed mode. I am too lazy to select the windowed mode, then restart BVE. Or vice-versa.

Eh, where did my signature go?
Where has my favourite LUL train gone? Maybe it was sent for bolt checking again...

RE: 2 BVEs, Windowed and Full screen

The thought occurs, why do you not use track viewer when developing?? That works in a window, and is simpler, I find.

This is a great idea. In my computer I can open 4 times BVE, in order to enjoy driving four routes! Well, I think this is a challenge more than entertainment .
Cheers.

RE: 2 BVEs, Windowed and Full screen

The full screen/window parameter might be saved in the registry because I don't see any file in the BVE directory (such as a .cfg file) that is modified when I switch modes. Both of your versions probably get the parameter for full scree/window mode from the same reg key.

I think:
23 = (600/25)-1
7 = (200/25)-1

Yes it is: 1 = full screen and 0 = windowedLuigi Cartello
