Looking at this service the first part used the Class 91 loco, in the description of the train it says it has a Non Driving Motor Mark 4 on the rear, therefore should the second half of the run use the Non Driving Motor not the Class 91?.Only and Idear to think about, and great work to the author.Tom
Eh? Nottingham isn't electrified. you're talking about the bradford pullman i presume. the set travels northwards with the Loco leading, then reverses at leeds.
... and, er, what's at the back is a DVT - Driving Van Trailer, not powered but can be driven.Sort of high-tech version of the GWR's Auto-Trains, really.
I think you might be talking about the 'Midland Pullman' routes in Moorfield-Westport-Hammerwich-Wood Green extension? If so, this is partly my baby. In answer to your question, no, it is a straight through route, so the Class91 leads in both parts of the route. It is in two parts because of the object limit in BVE 2.3 and because i didn't fancy re-writing Hammerwich to Wood Green in CSV and modifying the distances to combine directly with Moorfield to Hammerwich!Hope this helps,
I drove it with the DVT and when u get to 125MPH it seems quite fast. Try it with an HST, then the DVT and the DVT travels faster, yet its still only 125mph.
Sorry about that Friends, must be that old age creeping in again giving me mind blank out and typing the wrong thing, It seems to mostly happen when I'm in a hurry, you should be getting used to it by now!Yes I mean the Moorfied Extention. So the train comes in Facing Wood Green, for somereasomn I thought it came up the branch facing the other way, my mistake....That right I just rembered that brach I think was going to be the 3rd rail link into Hammerwich, it it still going or was it cancled?, if no there the start of the link to SR V2.Tom
