Inner Harbor Transit has recently upgraded its surface fleet with LRV and Electric Trolley busses. As a result we has a number of surplus Orion7 Diesel busses. These busses are offered in plain white paint, ready for you to put your graphics or color scheme on the sides. The first version ( this one) offered is a plain simple bus. All six sides of a rectangle are painted with a bit map. The top has the bus number on it if you require this feature for tracking your busses from the air. If you require only one or two sides, you can comment out the sides you do not need to increase frame rates The basic model was done by Nephew Richard Long and the Graphics by Kevin Taylor as a project for Inner Harbor Transit. Busses come with permission to repaint and distribute with no other permission required. The model must keep the author information and if you modify the paint, add your name. Please do not modify the lines of the bus in the graphics. You may, just as in real life, remove and fill in windows, but keep the graphic outline the same. You may use the shell to put your own graphics on, but again, leave the author lines alone and add your name to the list. The next group of busses to be surplussed will also be Orion7 type. These are more complex. They feature all 6 tires and exaust pipes from cylinder commands. The windows are transparent and there is a rude interion. No seats, but there is an inside. This will be a high demand bus and should be only used when detail is needed. The same copy limits will exist. If someone wants to make an interior, none of the authors or the project manager will object. The file for the simple bus was uploaded here this evening and should appear shortly. A PM to me with your email will also result in you being able to add this fine transit bus to your surface fleet. See the sample below.
>The same copy >limits will exist. What copy limits?
--You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!-- One morning, I woke up(Duh!) Then I ate breakfast. I ate green eggs and ham. It looked tasty! But after a while, my stomach didn't feel quite well. So I ran to the toilet! And guess what? I let out a giant FART! Did anyone feel a giant earthquake? Oops? Where has my favourite LUL train gone? Maybe it was sent for bolt checking again...
Sorry but I had to iclude one of my buses here...It appears at isle of Dogs Asda (terminus of D6)! Also a variant will appear at Lewisham too... More coming and even more with the Oxford Street Bus route which I think I will do after DLR....
>What copy limits? Almost the same as the open source limits. You an use / copy / change the colors or logos / put in a route /host / send out or what evere with out any further input from me. You may reskin ( use different bit maps) with out any permission from me. You can remove windows and doors or mirror the bus for UK operations or to make a special application Bus or RV. The only thing you can not do is to change the outline of the Orion7 bus image in the bit maps. If you need to do that, then you would need to create your own bit maps, but you can use the 3d shell. All that is required is that you do not delete the author lines in the file and that you add your name if you make any changes. BTW , Joshim, I really like that object )
