I think:
Best Diesel Route: Edimbourgh to Dundee/Carnoustie/Abroath.
Best Electric Route: Birmingham Cross City South.
Best Third Rail Route: All London Underground made until now.Greetings,
Rufus (Currently waiting for a homepage or website which wants to host my Meddle and Wall Lines {this last is a part of all the Line} )

Hear hear Pete,Bay Park is lovely, I still use it as a test track for new diesel locos, and a blast from end to end in the HST is a great way to purge oneself of any speed mania CiaoSaxon Locomotive Works - "The difficult we do immediately; the impossible takes a little longer"http://www.zodiac-infosystems.co.uk/rail/bve

HAPPY NOW? It's not moving anymore.
It's still the same train but in another livery, that's all.

Hmm.May I recommend the Edinburgh to Carnoustie stopping route. There's loads of driving there, but it does take an age to complete the route.Technical NumptyPlease recommend a good route for BVE to start with – image 14
