RE: ENDINBURGH-ABERDEEN RELEASE

Thanks for the update of this superb route. I've been following it since it first came out. The graphics are great and I like to use it to test different trains. For those of you whom are MSTS fans also, there is a route at uktrainsim.com named FIFE - Edinburgh which follow this BVE route for some distance. For those fans, I'd strongly recommend it.Again, thanks for the update and am looking forward to future releases.

Ron

HAPPY NOW? It's not moving anymore.
It's still the same train but in another livery, that's all.

RE: ENDINBURGH-ABERDEEN RELEASE

Hi Fella!!Firstly, I absolutely love this route. It's brilliant in more ways than I can possibly say.However...I have just driven the Dundee to Arbroath leg for the first time tonight, and there are a couple of minor issues that spoil the enjoyment somewhat. The first is that the Edinburgh to Carnoustie route file has obviously been used for the stretch from Dundee to Carnoustie. The problem with this is that it give the "Station 1km" warning for every station and not just those that have timetabled stops. The second is that the doors don't seem to open on arrival at Arbroath, which pisses off "Mr Angry" no end!!That said, if these are the only problems, then you're not firing too wide of the mark.Well done, sir!!Technical Numpty

RE: ENDINBURGH-ABERDEEN RELEASE

The doors will open at Arbroath if you change line 124200 in both the edin-arbroath route files to this:-124200,.sta Arbroath;17.4630;T;;-1;1;0;;;;;,.freeobj 0;22;0;0;0,.wallend 0,.form 1;R;0;0,.rail 10;9,.rail 11;-20,.railstart 3;-7;0.02;3,.freeobj 3;23;0;0;0It must be exactly as above.Hope this helps.John & Peter.
